Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary, Jharkhand

It is the most popular tourist place for wildlife tour in Jharkhand. Hazaribag wildlife sanctuary is established in the year 1955. Tiger, nilgai, chital, panther, wild boar, sambar are the wild animals found in this sanctuary. It has an area of 184 sq. km and is the home of many endangered wild animals.

This park is 19 km from the Hazaribag town and 91 km from the Ranchi airport. Hazaribagh Road railway station is the nearest railway, which is 67 km away from the park or Koderma railway station which is about 59 km from the Hazaribagh national park. It is connected to the all major airports of Delhi, Patna, Calcutta, Lucknow, and Gaya.
